The volume profile indicator allows you to add various types of volume profile to a chart.
The types of profile you can add are:
Selectable - Allows you to select an area to draw a profile around
Sessions - Draw one profile per session
Composite - Draws a profile according to "Composite By" (see below)
Settings
Profile Type - Selectable, Sessions, Composite
Composite By -
•All - Build profile based on all bars
•Visible - Build profile based on visible bars
•Bars - Build 1 profile per bar
•Sessions - Build 1 profile per session
•Minutes - Build 1 profile per x minutes (x is defined in Composite Periods)
•Hours - Builds 1 profile per x hours (x is defined in Composite Periods)
•Days - Builds 1 profile per x days (x is defined in Composite Periods)
Composite Period - defines the number of days, minutes, hours if "Composite By" is minutes, hours, days
Value Area - Percentage of trade that is included in the Value Area
Profile Width - Percentage of the screen or session the profile can cover
Profile Opacity - Opacity percentage of profile
Show Value Area - Show the value in a different color
Show Value Price Lines - Show horizontal lines at the value extremes
Show Value Prices - Highlight the value area
Show POC Price Lines - Show horizontal lines at the POC
Show POC Price - Highlight the Price at POC
Alignment - Alignment of Volume Profile
